Police investigate suspicious beer keg blaze

Police are investigating a suspicious fire in Mannerim after a beer keg was set alight.

Emergency services were called to Sheppards Lane just after 5:15am on Monday, with the blaze deemed under control around 5:50am.

Victoria Police attended the scene and believe the keg was set alight by an unknown person who then fled the scene.

Two CFA crews from Mannerim attended the scene.
