Police investigate suspicious Geelong West blaze

Police are investigating a suspicious fire in Geelong West.

Officers patrolling Pakington Street around 11.30pm on Wednesday saw smoke coming from a building and contacted FRV.

Crews arrived to find the business fully involved in flames, swiftly extinguishing it and deeming it Under Control at 11.44pm.

Nobody was inside at the time.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the blaze, treating it as suspicious at this stage.
