Police are working to determine whether three house fires in Norlane are linked.
A vacant home on Swallow Crescent was destroyed in a blaze just before midnight.
Emergency services were also called to the corner of Rose Avenue and the Princes Highway just after 4.30, finding the vacant property fully engulfed by flames.
No injuries were reported at either fire, with no nearby evacuations needed.
Police say a home on Plume Street sustained significant damage just after 6am.
No-one was injured in the fire.
Detective Sergeant Michael Ditcham said any arson attack was a serious matter.
“Arson has the potential to cause significant injury or tragically result in loss of life,” Det Sgt Ditcham said.
