The AEU’s Victorian branch calling on the state to reverse what they say are 2.4 billion cuts from the state’s public education system.
Teachers, principals and support staff set to protest outside the office of Gayle Tierney on Yarra street this afternoon.

“The Allan Government, including the local MP, have decided to deny public schools billions of dollars by delaying their commitment to fully fund public schools to 2031,” a statement said.
“The rally will send a clear message to the minister that her government must fix their funding mess and properly support Victorian public school teachers, principals and education support staff.”
The protests set to begin at 4.30.
