Extra V-Line services are being scheduled for Grand Final day as thousands of Cats fans head to Melbourne for the big game.
The exact number of trains is yet to be confirmed by V-Line, but the increase will make the journey easier for Cats fans heading to the G.
And the trip will also be made easier in the city itself.
The free tram zone in the city is also being extended to the MCG to make it easier for supporters to get to the MCG.
“Public transport will run to a Saturday timetable for the Grand Final Public Holiday on Friday, 26 September, with additional tram and train services scheduled before and after the event,” Transport Victoria said.
