Renegades to host defending champions

The Melbourne Renegades will host the Hobart Hurricanes in their return to GMHBA Stadium this season.

The BBL releasing its fixture for the new season with two games in Geelong, the first against Brisbane and a second against Hobart.

It’s back-to-back trips to GMHBA Stadium for the Hurricanes, who lost to the Gades by 6 wickets with 11 overs in hand.

The Hurricanes went on to win the title.

General Manager James Rosengarten says the return to Geelong is special for the club.

“Geelong has become a key part of our summer, and we’re excited to kick off the season with two huge games against the last two BBL champions before shifting focus to three must-watch home games at Marvel Stadium in January.”
