“The electors of South Barwon clearly would get no benefit from that member’s statement,” he said in question time.

Riordan continuing to take aim at Cheeseman after the session.

“In what can only be described as a pure act of laziness and contempt for his electorate the Labor
member for South Barwon today used his precious question time slot to ask the Premier about
the benefits of the Suburban Rail Loop and public transport in Melbourne,” he said in a statement.

“Since being elected in 2022 the Labor Member for South Barwon has overseen shocking neglect of
Geelong and the Surf Coast by his Labor Government before being booted for poor behaviour
from his party room.”
