A shot has been fired at a Newcomb home overnight.
Police have been told a car pulled up on Helms Street around 11.30pm Sunday, before a gun was used to fire the shot.
The vehicle then drove off.

A man was home at the time but was not injured.
Detectives are asking anyone who saw the incident, or who may have dash cam footage or other information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
