Stage two of Drysdale masterplan underway

Sods have been turned on the second stage of the Drysdale Sports precinct.

The next stage of the project working towards the building of a multi-use pavilion, new lighting and a soccer pitch.

The full project set to cost 14 and a half million dollars.

Leopold Ward Councillor Trent Sullivan said it would benefit the growing population in the area.

“This will become a vibrant recreation hub for the Bellarine Peninsula and be a place that sporting clubs and families can share and enjoy,” Cr Sullivan said.

“It will also open the door for sports competitions and events to be held there, which will boost local businesses.”
