Stonehaven CFA says its volunteers are not deterred after another attempted break in to the station.
The brigade taking to social media to report another attempted break in, with windows smashed and a crowbar used to attempt to force a door open.
“Unfortunately, just two nights after our first attempted break-in, our fire station was targeted again overnight,” a Facebook post said.
“This time, an individual attempted to force entry into both sheds using a crowbar. While they were unsuccessful in gaining entry, several windows were smashed.”
They’ve said the station was not breached and all equipment remains.
“We are sharing this update to keep our community informed and encourage everyone to remain vigilant,” the post continued.
“If you notice any suspicious activity, please prioritise your safety and report it to Victoria Police.
“Despite these incidents, our volunteers remain committed to what matters most – protecting and serving our community.”
