The clean up is continuing from last week’s storms which saw Geelong record over 69mm of rain in six hours.

The calls included rescuing people trapped in cars, building damage or flood water in their house.

The Geelong SES unit thanked all units who helped including those in Corio, Barwon South Westk, Torquay and Bannockburn.

The SES has again reminded people not to drive through flooded waters.

The Royal Geelong Show also shut on Friday due to the storms, but reopened to good crowds on Saturday and Sunday.
