Suspicious car fire in Moolap

Police will investigate after a car was found well alight in Moolap on Wednesday morning.

Fire crews were called to the blaze on Woods Rd around 6.20am, finding the vehicle on fire and bringing it under control within 15 minutes.

The blaze had caused a small grass fire around the scene as well, but there was no threat of spreading.

The incident was being treated as suspicious, and the scene was handed to Victoria Police.
