A serious crash in Tarneit earlier this month has taken a tragic turn.
A 16 year old boy has died in hospital after an allegedly stolen car collided with another vehicle before hitting a pole on May 18th.
A second teenager remains in a serious, but stable condition while a third boy has since been discharged from hospital.
“Emergency services were called to reports a Haval Jolion collided with a Toyota Camry before crashing into a pole at the intersection of Doherty’s Road and Werribee-Melton Road about 1.25am,” a statement from police said.
“Fortunately, the occupants of the Toyota did not sustain any serious injuries.”
The road toll for the state is now at 126.
