Teen injured in carjacking

A teenager has been injured in a carjacking at St Albans Park..

Police have been told two males and a female approached two cars on Woods Road around 4.30pm Monday.

The trio threatened a male driver with a knife before approaching the second vehicle, where an 18-year-old woman was slashed with the knife.

They then stole her white Suziki Vitara wagon, while the victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

However anyone with information or dash cam footage is being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Meantime, four teenagers have been arrested over a police chase across Melbourne and parts of Geelong.

The teens allegedly forced an Uber driver out of his car in Noble Park in the early hours of Monday.

Police tracked the vehicle through Melbourne to Lara, before the group were arrested near Kangaroo Ground.

A 15-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl have been charged with offences including aggravated carjacking and car theft.

Two others, a 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl have been released pending summons.
