A teenager has been taken to hospital following an armed robbery and assault in Grovedale.
Detectives have been told two teenage boys were approached by a group of males at bus stop outside Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre around 5pm Wednesday.
They say one of the males, armed with a knife, punched one of the boys in the head, stealing his ear buds and smashing his phone.

The 17-year-old victim briefly lost consciousness before he and his mate ran to the shopping centre for help.
