Two boys have been charged in relation to an assault in Geelong’s CBD.
Police allege a boy was assaulted by a group of teens near James Street last Wednesday afternoon, but ran off before police arrived.
Officers spoke to two boys who remained at the scene, but say there were no reported injuries and the boys did not want to make a statement.
Police arrested three 14-year-old boys on Monday night.
Two of the boys from the Greater Geelong area have been charged with affray, riotous behaviour and use threatening words in public.
They have been bailed to face a children’s court down the track.
A third teenager was interviewed in relation to outstanding matters, but officers determined he was not involved in the incident last Wednesday.
Police say they are expecting to make further arrests in the future.
But they are asking anyone with inforamtion or any footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
