Some traffic issues to hit commuters heading back to Geelong this weekend.
The West Gate shutting all outbound lanes between Williamstown and Millers Road between 11.59 on Friday night and 5am on Monday for asphalting lanes and ramps.
“The asphalting works are carried out over a weekend where there’ll be no AFL games to minimise the impact on the travelling public,” the government websitye said.

“The area for asphalting is where the freeway splits into two. Due to the space constraints, the outbound lanes will need to be closed to enable this work.”
Drivers expected to have delays of up to 90 minutes.
