A search for a missing toddler has ended in tragedy, after he was found unconscious in a dam at Lara.
Police were called to an address around 5.20pm Tuesday, when his family reported the little boy had gone missing.
The police helicopter was called in to help in the search for the toddler, who was found unconscious in a dam off Windemere Road.

CPR was performed until paramedics arrived, but sadly the boy could not be revived and died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing, while police are preparing a report for the Coroner.
