More than 70 fines and 30 defect notices have been issued during a police crackdown on heavy vehicles in Wyndham.
Westgate Highway Patrol took part in the three-day Operation Aerodyne with the Heavy Vehicle Unit and Naitonal Heavy Vehicle Regulator, intercepting 128 vehicles.
Offences picked up included unregistered trailers, load restrains and work diary issues.
Two trucks were also taken off the road for major mechanical issues.
Police are warning they will continue similar operations in high-volume transport warehouse hubs in the region.
