Trucks and buses have been given the once over as part of a local police operation.
The recent blitz, Operation Squidgy, was held on the Hamilton Highway at Inverleigh and Midland Highway, Lethbridge.
Members of the Moorabool and Ballarat Highway Patrols teamed up with VicRoads Heavy Vehicle Safety & Compliance officers, checking heavy vehicles.

They also ensured drivers were licensed, accredited and fit to drive.
Police are warning they will continue to hit major and back roads over the Christmas holidays, making sure all drivers are keeping it safe.
