A Truganina petrol station has been hit up in a series of armed robberies.
It’s believed three to four offenders in ski masks and carrying weapons hit the station on Dohertys Road just before midnight, but failed to force entry and left empty handed.
It was just the start of the morning for stations across Melbourne.
“The offenders attended another service station on Sayers Road, Williams Landing about 12.20am,” police said.
“It is understood the group forced entry and stole cigarettes before fleeing. A few minutes later, they attended a third service station on Leakes Road, Laverton North.
“The group, again armed with weapons including knives and a baseball bat, stole a pack of energy drinks and left the store.
“Police were called to another armed robbery at a service station on Warrigal Road, Bentleigh East about 1.30am.
“It’s believed four offenders, armed with a baseball bat, forced entry through a door and stole cigarettes.
“The offenders remain outstanding and may be travelling in a stolen grey Mercedes Benz.”
No one was harmed in the incidents.
