Concerns the Lara Fire Station currently has no FRV trucks.
The United Firefighters Union has taken to social media, saying the FRV frontline pumper was taken off the road last week due to a growing list of faults.
It says that is the truck that is called to house and other fires, accidents and medical emergencies.

The video claims the nearest pumpers are in Corio and Point Cook.
The UFU also says the HAZMAT truck, which was used during last month’s Viva Refinery blaze in Corio, is also not available, and there is no return date.
It is calling on local MP Ella George to advocate for the electorate’s safety.
