The public transport users association’s Geelong branch have taken a swing at V line over the trip to and from the city.

The group saying a trip on Sunday was taking close to two and a half hours due to transfers and stopping patterns on the Werribee line.

The group said a bus from Southern Cross to Wyndham Vale would have made more sense.

“V/Line’s alternative arrangements turn a 1 hr 10 min trip from Waurn Ponds to Southern Cross into a 2 hr (sic) 30 min trip, due to pooly (sic) cordinated (sic) transfers and the slow stopping patterns on the Werribee line,” a social media post read

“A direct coach between Southern Cross and Wyndham Vale would be a dramatically quicker trip.”

Service changes remain in place through until January 23 on the Geelong line.
