More than 100 people have been searched or spoken to in Geelong’s CBD during a police operation targeting weapons.
The mounted branch of Victoria police helped local officers in Operation OMNI last Friday.
While no weapons were found, two people were arrested for outstanding warrants.
More than ten fines were also handed out for various offences.
It follows a similar operation in Corio earlier in the week, where one man was taken into custody after he was allegedly found to be carrying a knife.
