A woman has died in a crash in Werribee.
Emergency services were called to reports a car had hit a tree on the Princes Highway just after 3pm.
The female driver died at the scene.

The investigation surrounding the crash is continuing.
Police are asking anyone who saw the crash, or who has dash cam or CCTV footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Two hundred and six people have died on the state’s roads so far this year, compared to 169 this time in 2022.
