Woman hospitalised after car runs into building

A woman in her 70’s has been taken to hospital after her car crashed into a building in Herne Hill on Tuesday morning.

Crews were called to Minerva Rd. near St. Joseph’s College around 11.30am, fortunately no-one was trapped inside the car.

The woman was taken to Geelong University Hospital, the extent of her injuries and her condition are unclear.

Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and SES were on scene and the incident was safe by about 11.50am.
