A promise of progress at the unfinished Bannockburn Shopping Centre, with the Golden Plains Shire expecting work to resume within months.
The site’s original builder has collapsed, leaving car parks and office spaces unfinished.
However mayor Brett Cunningham said a new construction company is due to step in.

“I hope before the end of this year that works will commence on the second stage,” Cr Cunningham said.
“I think there are another two stages to start.
“It’s going to be an amazing facility when it’s all finished
“There’ve been a couple of bumps in the road but hopefully everything will be fine.”
