Young Endeavour heads to Geelong

The famous Young Endeavour is docking in Geelong for an exciting viewing opportunity, celebrating the end of an 11-day youth voyage from Adelaide.

The Navy Sail Training Ship will official berth at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club at 10am on Saturday October 4, with young sailors on the mast and yards waving to crowds.

An Open Day will be held on Sunday, with locals encouraged to come along, explore the ship, and have a chat with the crew.

It’ll be open 10am to 2pm, with the event free and open to all ages.

It will leave Corio Bay on Wednesday at 3pm.

More than 300 Aussies, aged 16-23, will take part in one of 14 voyages across a 7 month circumnavigation around the country,

The Young Endeavour will return to Geelong in January and February 2026, wit interested locals encouraged to apply at www.youngendeavour.gov.au.
