Venom take down Lynx for second win of the season

Lilly Rotunno and Mackenzie Holmes have led Geelong Venom to their second win of the WNBL season.

Venom outscored the Perth Lynx by 25 in the second half to knock off the second placed Lynx by 19 points.

The side draining 10 threes for the contest, while out-rebounding the Lynx 43 to 36.

Holmes again led the way on scoring with 22, with Rotunno also putting up 21.

Jaz Shelley and captain Alex Sharp also scored in the double digits, with Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard putting up 15 off the bench.

The side plays its fifth straight home game on Friday night as they take on Southside Melbourne Flyers (2-2).
