An early morning tremor recorded in Victoria’s north east has been felt across areas of the state, including the Geelong region.
The 4.6 magnitude quake happened at Rawson just after 1.30 this morning, and was around three kilometres deep.
Thousands of locals have lodged reports with authorities on the quake, including in Werribee and Geelong.
It comes after a 3.8 magntiude quake was reported near Sunbury, north-west of Melbourne in late May.
GeoScience Australia is asking anyone who felt this morning’s quake or any aftershocks to report it here.
