Nursing union members are calling on Barwon Health management to take urgent action to deliver safety changes.
The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation met with staff during the week, following an assault on two nurses late last month.
The union says members have passed a resolution, calling on management to take urgent action to address unacceptable risks of harm when staff are going to and from work.

Proposed measures include reinstating a safety bus shuttle, and increased security.
