A child has been hospitalised after being hit by a car on the Bellarine Peninsula.
The 10-year-old was struck on the corner of Darrambal Crescent and Kensington Rd in Leopold just before 4 o’clock.
He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed the child was hospitalised.
“A primary school aged child was transported by road ambulance to Geelong University Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries,” a spokesperson said.
The driver of the car wasn’t injured.
