Geelong’s CBD has experienced a 10 second power outage.
The city centre and surrounding areas temporarily lost power just after midday on Wednesday.
Powercor says it happened in response to a fault, with automatic protections activating as intended.

A spokesperson confirmed the systems worked as they should to protect the electricity network and reduce the risk of a longer outage.
The cause of the fault is under investigation.
