Trains on sections of the Werribee metro line will not be running today, with passengers urged to plan ahead.
Metro Trains and Powercor crews will be repairing overhead powerlines near Laverton, after they fell on Monday morning.
Buses will be replacing trains between Newport and Werribee until the last service.

Drivers are also being advised to be vigilant for extra pedestrians and buses around the train stations on the Werribee Line.
V/Line is operating as normal from Wyndham Vale and Tarneit, although this morning’s services may be busier as commuters look for alternate travel.
