Councillors have also committed a funding co-contribution of $200, 000 towards the development.

The changerooms will be used by the Bell Park sporting bodies, including the football and cricket clubs.

Mayor Trent Sullivan said it was a worthy project.

“We’ve heard loud and clear that the Bell Park Dragons are in need of better female friendly change rooms for the growing club,” Cr Sullivan said.

“New change rooms will make a big difference to the club and provide a morale boost.”
