Driver fined, two hospitalised in collision

Two women have been taken to hospital, while one driver is facing a fine, after a crash in Freshwater Creek on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Anglesea Road and McIntyre Road intersection at about 9.10am to reports of a two-car collision.

Police say one driver will receive and infringement for allegedly failing to give way and causing the collision.

The scene was cleared within two hours.
