CFA crews will be on high alert across the region tomorrow, with a Total Fire Ban declared.
The fire danger rating for the Central district, which includes Geelong and the Surf Coast, at Extreme for Wednesday.
Most of Victoria will be under an Extreme Fire Danger Rating, except for the South West and East Gippsland regions, which will be at High.

Geelong is in for a top of 30 degrees with a shower or two forecast.
The city has not officially recorded any rainfall so far this month, while Avalon has had 1.8mm, and Aireys Inlet 1.0mm.
