A big crowd turning out at Johnstone Park to watch the Aussie’s pick up a 2-0 victory to open their campaign.
Families with chairs and picnic blankets filled the area, with food vans on hand and the game on the big screen.

Police have also confirmed that there were no concerns from the crowd on the day.
It was one of several live sites across the state, with the usual Federation Square event drawing a crowd of thousands.
Australia next plays on Saturday morning at 5am against the USA.
