Geelong Grammar is hiking its school fees by eight per cent.
It will cost almost $85,000 for a full-time boarding student at the private school from 2024.
Parents of years 10 to 12 day students at the Corio campus will be forking out nearly $50,000.

Grammar is blaming rising costs, including staff salaries and fixed expenses, and less government funding for the hike.
It says there had been no increase in 2021 during the pandemic, with an increase of two per cent in 2022 and six per cent this year.
