Positive news out of the Bellarine, with missing man Michael found happy and well.
The community rallied together on Sunday morning after the news the 77-year-old Indented Head man, who has Alzheimer’s disease, hadn’t been seen since 5pm Saturday.
Neighbourhood Watch Bellarine has shared an update to social media, with a message from Michael’s daughter.

“He was located in Gisborne after seemingly becoming disorientated and continuing his drive to arrive home,” it read.
“He stayed in the car overnight and had it running to keep warm.
“I can’t thank this very special community enough for helping search, and share. We know we love living here for a reason, and the people make it special.
“Thanks again. I cannot express how thankful I am.”
