Police have arrested a man after sounds from his home were heard hundreds of metres away in the early hours of the morning.
Police attending an address in Lindsay Street around 2.20am after night shift patrols heard the sounds.
The man was then arrested.
As well as being charged with the noise offence, he was hit with charges in relation to a serious of thefts from the CBD last month.
He was also wanted over breaches of an intervention order.
He was bailed to face court in June.
Police said people deserved to be treated with respect by others in their area.
“We would expect people to pay some level of respect to those around them and urge anyone impacted by undue residential noise to call 000 when needed.”
