Market Square has suffered another blow, with another business set to depart the ailing mall.
Tasty Asia now closing the doors with the expiry of its lease.
It will leave Harris Scarfe as the sole occupant of the second floor of the mall.
The mall has continued to be the centre of discussion after several other businesses – including the Commonwealth Bank and Faull’s Shoes – departed in recent months.
The City of Greater Geelong has discussed plans for the future, while the mall has also been a topic of discussion for political candidates in the leadup to the upcoming state election.
Compulsory acquisition of the facility has also been a topic of discussion.
