A man is facing charges after being caught in an allegedly stolen car around Werribee South.
Police noticed the vehicle overnight, using stop sticks with the front tyre blown, but officers say the 45-year-old driver kept going.
He finally came to a stop on the Freeway and ran off, but was quickly caught.

The dog squad were called in but were not needed in the end.
Police say the driver tested positive in a roadside drug test, and is expected to face charges including dangerous driving.
Officers also say the man had recently been released from prison.
