A man is in a critical condition following his arrest in Hoppers Crossing.
The 35-year-old was approached by police in a carpark on the corner of Heaths and Tarneit roads in the early hours of July 15.
When officers tried to speak to him over traffic matters, he reportedly became physically aggressive and wrestled police.

It is understood the man became unresponsive following his arrest.
Police performed CPR on the man, who was then taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating, while the Professional Standards Command is overseeing the investigation.
