Two women have been arrested trying to steal items from a local Bunnings.
Police were called to the Torquay store around 7pm Monday to reports the women had taken around $1600 worth of hardware items without paying.
A 34-year-old from Clifton Springs and a 33-year-old Corio woman were arrested while trying to load a car with the goods.

Both are facing theft charges and will face court next month.
Police are assuring Surf Coast residents they are targeting several locations in the region in a bid to stamp down on theft offences.
