Police are after information on the incident in December 2021, where the girl met up with an unknown man she had met online in the carpark of a general store on Eynesbury Road around 10.30pm.
The pair walked to an abandoned building in the historical park, about 20 minutes away from the store, where it’s understood the man sexually assaulted the child.
The alleged offender is described as being in his mid to late 30s, with the victim told he was from the Tarneit area.
He is believed to have been driving a ute, described as having a white cab, an alloy tray, and a ladder on top.
Police received a complaint over the alleged incident in May this year, with Brimbank Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Team launching an investigation.
Police have released a computer-generated image (above) of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises the man or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
