Police have appealed for public assistance as they investigate the circumstances of an assault in Geelong.
It’s believed the offender approached the victim around on Moorabool Street, around 7pm on Saturday 13 December.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries for observation.

Police have released photos of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
