People in the Golden Plains shire who had their rubbish delayed due to the bushfire have had their collection moved to tomorrow.
Coopers Road, Bamganie Road and Deans Road residents were unable to have their garbage collected yesterday due to the area remaining an active fire zone.
However those collections will now occur tomorrow.

“If you have a property on these roads and your bin was not collected on Tuesday, please ensure your bins are placed out for collection on the night before Thursday 15 January 2026,” council said in a statement on their website.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritise safety during this time.”
