Heavy rains have hit our region to start the month.
In the past 24 hours the rain gauges have been filled with 10mms of rain, after forecasts had suggested the region could be hit with as much as 25mm.
It came on another day of high tides and strong winds, with the BOM putting out a warning to the coast that weather could be impacting the area.

But the weather has been strong in recent weeks, with more than 80mms falling into catchments last week.
It’s seen water storages increase across the region to 37.2 per cent.
A slightly calmer day today, with a top of 15 and the chance of some showers for the area.
