A second teen’s been charged over an alleged abduction in Melbourne’s south-east.
It’s alleged a 17-year-old girl was forced into a vehicle while entering a Springvale South secondary school on the morning of Friday 26 June.
An 18-year-old Tarneit man was arrested at 10am on Wednesday and charged with offences including abduction and false imprisonment.
Investigators believe he was behind the wheel of the vehicle, earlier arresting a 15-year-old from the Wyndham area, accused of forcing the girl into the vehicle around 8.30am.
The younger boy was arrested on Jezebel Way, Tarneit about 12pm on the day of the incident and remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
It’s believed the parties are known to each other, with the girl taken to hospital on Friday.
